However, Dixit’s journey on the reality show was short-lived and recently ended. After her exit, Dixit returned to her food stall for the first time, and the video has been widely shared online.

Chandrika Gera Dixit gained overnight fame after a video of her selling vada pavs in Delhi’s Sainik Vihar neighborhood went viral. In the video, she discussed her journey and disclosed that she had to leave her job at Haldiram’s when her son contracted dengue fever.
Several contentious videos of Dixit and her clashes with other street vendors circulated on social media, which eventually led her to join Bigg Boss OTT 3. However, she was ousted within 24 days. In a conversation with indianexpress.com, she said, “My reputation shifted, as people only saw one aspect of me and thought I was always arguing. But nobody understood the reasons behind those arguments; they didn’t see how affectionate and kind-hearted I was. Poulomi told me that the world should see the genuine person I am. Sai Ketan Rao and Ranvir Shorey’s perspectives on me changed, so I feel like I’ve already succeeded. I never tried to be someone else on the show.”
