Bombshell Prediction: BJP Set to Conquer South and East in 2024 Polls

Must read

Prashant Kishor, the renowned political strategist, has dropped a bombshell prediction about the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections in India. According to Kishor, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for massive gains in the southern and eastern regions, areas traditionally considered opposition strongholds.

BJP’s Unstoppable Rise in South and East

  • Kishor forecasts BJP to be the first or second party in Telangana
  • BJP tipped to emerge as the number one party in Odisha and West Bengal
  • Significant vote share increase for BJP projected in Tamil Nadu

Despite these seismic shifts, Kishor believes the BJP may fall short of its ambitious 370-seat target in the 543-member Lok Sabha.

Challenges for Opposition Parties

  • Jagan Mohan Reddy’s comeback in Andhra Pradesh deemed difficult
  • Congress criticized for misplaced strategies and laziness
  • Rahul Gandhi advised to “step aside” if Congress underperforms

The BJP’s Dominance in Heartland States While the BJP is expected to maintain its stronghold in the Hindi heartland and western India, Kishor warns that the opposition must ensure the ruling party loses at least 100 seats in these regions to pose a serious challenge. However, he dismisses the likelihood of such an occurrence.

The Crumbling Opposition Alliance Kishor critiques the proposed INDIA (Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance) opposition bloc, labeling it “neither desirable nor effective” due to the one-on-one contest between the BJP and regional parties in nearly 350 constituencies. He blames the Congress and other opposition parties for their structural flaws, lack of narrative, and inability to take on the BJP directly.

As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections draw closer, Prashant Kishor’s predictions have sent shockwaves through the political landscape, foreshadowing a potential BJP sweep in regions once considered impenetrable for the saffron party.
