The festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated in Rajasthan with devotion, faith and enthusiasm on Wednesday. On this occasion, special worship of Bhole Baba is being done in Shiva temples. Long queues of people were seen for Jalabhishek in Shiva temples of all districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota, Sikar.
State Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma wrote on ‘X’ “Hearty greetings to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.”
He said “With the blessings of Lord Bholenath, may happiness and prosperity come in the lives of all the people of the state, may everyone’s wishes be fulfilled, may the whole world prosper. Har Har Mahadev.” Bhajan Lal Sharma prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state by performing ritualistic worship with his family at the Rajrajeshwar temple located at the Chief Minister’s residence. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote on ‘X’ “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to everyone on the auspicious festival of Mahashivratri. Har-Har Mahadev.”
