Hyundai Motor India has started bookings for its upcoming SUV, the Hyundai Bayon. The new SUV is aimed at buyers looking for a modern design, smart technology and everyday practicality.

Bookings are now open for ₹11,000 through the official Hyundai website and Hyundai dealerships across India.

The Bayon is a 4.2-metre-long SUV and comes with a modern design. It gets features such as H-Edge LED DRLs, geometric wheel arches, roof rails and a futuristic front design.

The company says the SUV has been designed with a focus on comfortable space for passengers, including good legroom, headroom and shoulder room.

One of the main highlights of the Hyundai Bayon is its built-in generative AI voice assistant.

This technology is designed to allow drivers to interact with the car using more natural voice commands. Hyundai is positioning this feature as part of its focus on connected and intelligent driving.

The Hyundai Bayon is built on the Global K Enhanced Platform. Hyundai says the platform has been engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards.

The Hyundai Bayon will be offered with a petrol engine. Buyers will get two transmission options:

Manual Transmission (MT)
Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT)
